  • Support the above charts offline except Geo Map
  • Limited Formula support
  • Support Background download of Lumira documents

SDK enhancements:

  • Support Lumira through SDK

Ÿ
Webi Geo maps support

  • Geo bubble map

Recommendation is to use Lumira Server for BI platform (LS4BIP) 1.31 Patch 2 and above with the 6.5 application, so that all the new features (formula support in offline etc) are available, however it can also work with older versions like LS4BIP 1.30 as well.

A few limitations:

  • Portrait mode is not supported
  • Need to use the ‘HTML view’ in Mobile server properties for documents created using HANA Online and Hadoop as data sources
  • Animation and Shapes for Bubble, Trellis for all charts not supported
  • In addition to the above limitations, offline access has additional limitations as below:
  • Lumira Stories with Prompts or Refresh-on-open or created with HANA Online DataSource will not have the ‘download’ option.
  • Visualizations in Lumira Stories containing one or more features like Blending, Ranking, Counter, JoinedQuery, Time Interpolation, Prediction is not supported. In cases where the content is not supported will display an error message.
  • Supporting Limited Calculated Measures/ Dimensions through limited Formulas
  • Manual Refresh operation of a Lumira Story in offline is not supported

[. . . ] On the Local Node tab, set the IP address or hostname of the local node (the one you are configuring), and the first TCP port that will be used by the local node. - If you want to check whether a certain number of ports are available, set the Last port for test, and then click Test ports. Configuring the ORB 122 Installation and Configuration Guide for UNIX 4. On the Primary Node tab, set the IP address or hostname of the primary node of your cluster, as well as the first TCP port used by this primary node. - The IP address or hostname must be the same as the one you used when configuring your primary node. Use 'Test connection to primary node' to check whether the connection with the primary node is working correctly. If you have configured a secondary node, the Configuration Tool prompts you to set cluster storage. Repeat the above process for any other secondary or client nodes you want to configure. Configuring the ORB Installation and Configuration Guide for UNIX 123 Setting cluster storage When you install Business Objects server products, you can choose which server or servers on which you want to store the system's cached, temporary and personal documents and files. For performance reasons, it is often a good policy to locate application files, temporary files and personal documents on separate disks or machines. You can therefore better control where the heavier transaction loads are likely to occur, and avoid bottlenecks before they happen. At the end of configuring a secondary node, the Cluster Preferences Page appears. If you have already configured the nodes, go to Modifying storage and other directories on page 124. In the Storage Directory field, enter or browse for the path to the folder you want to use for cluster storage. The Cluster Management page re-appears. Where to go now To deploy and configure your web applications on the web server and application server, go to either: · Deploying Web Applications using Configuration Tool on page 145 · Deploying Web Applications Using wdeploy on page 159 Setting cluster storage 124 Installation and Configuration Guide for UNIX Changing cluster settings After you configure the nodes, you can: · modify storage and other directories · modify service parameters · reconfigure the ORB Modifying storage and other directories You can modify the directories that Business Objects uses for storage of certain files or as temporary directories. For the Storage directory, you can: · change the Storage directory that is shared by all nodes in the cluster You must use a mapped network drive that is shared by the cluster. · set a Storage directory that is shared by two primary nodes In this case, Business Objects recommends that you locate the directory on a third machine and point the two primary nodes to that directory. Highlight Cluster Preferences, select Update cluster preferences from the drop-down list, and then click Next. The Directories page appears. Configuring the ORB Installation and Configuration Guide for UNIX 125 3. The Cluster Management page re-appears. Changing cluster settings 126 Installation and Configuration Guide for UNIX Removing a node When you remove a node, all configuration and deployment information is deleted. Removing the node deletes all files located in $INSTALLDIRnodes<hostname><clustername>. This includes storage, Administration Console settings, and bomain. key. If you want to keep these settings, back them up before beginning the procedure below. Highlight the cluster name, and then select Delete this cluster from the dropdown list. [. . . ] wping can log in, retrieve a document from corporate or personal document storage, and refresh the document. The return value of the command indicates whether the operation succeeded, and if not, what are the possible causes. To find out how to use wping, see the Diagnostic Tools Guide.
